MEDICAL EDUCATION BACKGROUND 
Dr. Yufang Chen Davidson earned her bachelor’s degree in Chinese medicine from China’s Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1977, after five years of training in both Chinese and Western medicine. After graduate, she worked as a lecturer at the University.

Then, she completed two additional years of extensive training in both Chinese and Western medicine and earned her master’s degree in Chinese medicine from the same University in 1980.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE 
After earning her Master in Chinese medicine., Dr. Davidson worked as an acupuncture doctor at the Affiliated Hospital of the University. She practiced with Dr. Jingshan Peng, the founder of Orbital Acupuncture Therapy and world famous acupuncture doctor for 15 years.
She has given lectures all over China and trained and supervised hundreds of international acupuncturists from USA, Canada, Britain, Korea, Japan and other countries and districts.

She has been a Licensed Acupuncturist by California State Acupuncture Board since 1997.
She was selected by California Acupuncture Board, State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, as an Acupuncture "Subject Matter Expert" to revamp and update state's acupuncture licensing examination and licensing procedures.

She worked an acupuncturist at Sae Jong Medical Center, Garden Grove, CA (2002-2004), at Rothenberg Chiropractic Huntington Beach. (2003-2005) and at Lion of Judah Rehabilitation Center/The Pain Institute, Westminster & Pomona, CA 9 2004-2009).

Dr. Davidson has also published many journal articles and participated in and presented at many international conferences on Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

AWARDS 
Dr. Davidson was awarded the third level of progress of science technology by the Liaoning Province in China in 1998. She was awarded the second level of progress of science technology by the China State Administration of TCM in 1990.
